30 Day Animal Crossing Challenge, Day 23!

Day 23: Your least favorite NPC

Pssh, this one is easy! My answer is annoying ass Mr. Resetti! He is always such a jerk. It’s funny the first time he pops up, but it gets old very, very quickly. Especially when he makes you type shit that he says to “apologize” to him! Sometimes you have to type several things, and uggh… it just gets on my nerves. Thank goodness in New Leaf his Surveillance Center is a Public Work Project that you have to approve and pay for- I’ll never build it in my town!

P.S. Okay, maybe I’m being a little harsh. He’s annoying, but I still don’t hate him. I may build his Surveillance Center if the mood strikes me πŸ˜‰

30 Day Animal Crossing Challenge, Day 22!

Day 22: A neighbor you wish didn’t move

Aww… the very first villager that comes to mind is Gladys! She was in my Wild World town for quite a long time. She was always so sweet to me, gave me presents, talked to me about how we were such great friends, etc. I know all villagers are programmed to be a certain way, but she was always so nice! I was surprised to visit her house one day and see that she was all packed up and ready to move! I tried to talk her out of it, but I guess it was too late. Bye bye, Gladys 😦

30 Day Animal Crossing Challenge, Day 21!

Day 21: A neighbor that you’re closest to

Well, I guess I can list one from each of my villages πŸ™‚

1. Doubutsu no Mori (town name: Weezey): I would have to say that I am definitely closest to Sutoroberi. She is always so sweet and I love talking to her!

2. Animal Crossing (town name: Branvil): This one is hard, because a lot of my villagers have been in my town for a really long time. I’m closest to my crabby pal Octavian. He always makes me laugh, even when he’s being mean!

3. Animal Crossing: Wild World (town name: Booland): Without a doubt, I am closest to Stitches. He is so adorable and always says the most adorable things to me, plus he told me I am his “bestest” friend. How cute!

4. Animal Crossing: City Folk (town name: Spookie): This one is difficult to choose, because I have played this game the least out of all the Animal Crossing games. I’ll go with Prince, because he is always sweet to me. Besides, I was his Valentine this year, so that has to count for something! πŸ˜‰

5. Animal Crossing: New Leaf (town name: Blorp): I am closest to Jeremiah in this game. He’s always sweet, though he is a little spacey at times. πŸ˜‰

30 Day Animal Crossing Challenge, Day 20!

Day 20: A neighbor you like to annoy

Uggh… none of them! I try to be nice to all of them, even if they get on my last nerve. I literally want to be friends with all of them, so I try to get on their good sides. Receiving their portrait as a gift for being a good friend is a nice incentive as well! So I don’t do things like trap them with holes or hit them with my shovel, haha!! I’m a sucker, I know.

100th Blog Entry!

Wow! I can’t believe I’ve made 100 blog posts already! Time has really flown by. I started this blog last November as a simple way to entertain myself. I love writing about video games, so I decided to devote a blog to them! My blog is a mixed bag of my own personal gameplay screenshots and experiences, first impressions of games, game related merchandise or books I buy, etc. I do not write about news or rumors related to video games, because I feel like there are plenty of other sites out there dedicated to that. Besides, the way IΒ choose to structure my entries is more like I’m writing a video game diary of sorts! I’d like to keep it that way. My blog may be a bit atypical- I bounce from game to game, I write about whatever I feel like that day, and my language can be quite colorful at times. My blog is just ME. My style, my way of doing things.

With that being said, I do have some ideas for some different types of entries I’d like to have on this blog. I’d like to maybe do some character profiles, game reviews, things like that. I want to continue my Animal Crossing challenge for the rest of this month, then I will start implementing some new features!

By the way, thank you to everyone who reads this. It was never my intention to create a blog for anyone other than myself to enjoy, but I’m glad to see that I have several readers who do! I pin each of my blog entries to my Pinterest account, but I have no other form of social media, so I do no self-promotion. Yet, my WordPress stats tell me I have had almost 350 unique visitors in just under 6 months. That’s pretty cool! πŸ™‚

30 Day Animal Crossing Challenge, Day 19!

Day 19: Your least favorite hour song (any game)Β

Once again, I will refer to the music played in the GameCube version of Animal Crossing, since that’s the one I have played the most! As I mentioned in my last blog entry, I enjoy most of the hourly music that plays. If there is one tune that I don’t care for, it’s the one that plays at 11 p.m. It’s a little bit… odd. Click the link below and take a listen for yourself if you are interested!

30 Day Animal Crossing Challenge, Day 18!

Day 18: Your favorite hour song (any game)

Since Animal Crossing for the GameCube was my first Animal Crossing game (and it is the game I have played the most out of all of them), I’m most familiar with the music in that game! I do like most of the hourly music that plays. My two favorite are the tunes that play at 8 a.m. and at 9 p.m. If you want to listen to them, click the links below! πŸ™‚
