My Backloggery Is Complete!

So, after months and months of entering in all my video games, then all my husband’s video games, I’m happy to say my Backloggery page is now completely up to date! For those of you who aren’t aware, Backloggery is a site that lets you keep track of your games for all your different systems. It’s a very basic site that I’ve enjoyed using for a few years now- it just took me forever to get all my games on there! Then I decided that I should put all of Michael’s games on there too, because why not? Anyway, the grand total of all our video games is…

1168!

Wow… just wow. I knew we had a lot of games! Now, I added all my iPhone/ iPad games on there, but I didn’t add any of Michael’s mobile games. He tends to play games for awhile and then get rid of them, so I don’t really keep up with them. Also, I have a Miscellaneous section for all of my Kindle games! πŸ™‚ Here is a screenshotΒ of my Backloggery:

If you are interested in going to my Backloggery and seeing what games I have for each system, click here! If the game is Michael’s and I haven’t played it, I nulled it out so it doesn’t count negatively towards my tally of games completed. Not that my completion rate is that impressive… one day all my games will be finished! Now, if I could just stop adding to my backlog… πŸ˜‰

      1. A lot of mine have been lost to the mists of time. My dad used to install PC games from floppy disc and keep them but I have no idea where they ended up. Still got some of the old BBC game cassettes somewhere though!

      2. Aw yeah I know my husband had a lot of old PC games that are lost in time too, kind of sad. Haha if you find any of those cassettes you should still hang on to them, just for nostalgia’s sake!

  1. Wow! That’s quite an impressive set of games. I may have to check that site out. I have my games updated on Grouvee, but this one looks a bit neater and listy-er (I know that’s not a verb, but I take poetic license!). I do love making lists and organizing things.

    1. Thanks! I was amazed at how many games we actually had. I love making lists and organizing things too! πŸ™‚ I love Backloggery because it is so simplistic and easy to use. I think I made an account on Grouvee, but never did anything with it since I already had one with Backloggery.

      1. Awesome! Have fun with it! It took me a long time to do it, but I’m glad I did. It’s saved me and my husband a few times from buying games we already had while we were at a store. All I have to do is pull it up on my phone and because it’s just one giant list, it’s very easy to navigate! πŸ™‚

      2. Oh there’s a phone app, too?! Yasss, I’m always on my phone so that will be so useful. I’ve found Goodreads is comparably good for that with books! I have a “owned” shelf so I can always see what I’ve already bought so I don’t double dip.

      3. Oh, I don’t think they have an actual app- I just bookmarked the page on my web browser on my phone and I pull it up whenever I need it πŸ˜‰ Yes I know what you mean about Goodreads! I like having a “read” shelf so that way I can remember if I’ve actually read something or not πŸ™‚ I have so many books I need to add on there!

    1. It really is! It took over 30 years to get to this point- I’m just glad I never got rid of anything as a kid! One of my husband’s regrets is getting rid of all of his NES, SNES and Genesis games when he was in his teens. Luckily, I had many of those games anyway, so he was happy to have them again! And thank you, I love playing almost every type of game and like to keep an open mind!

  2. Awesome! I love Backloggery so much! I thought for a second that you completed your backlog, but then I realized that you completed your Backloggery. Hahaha, but important baby steps! I added you on my multitap! πŸ™‚

    1. I love Backloggery too! It is an awesome site. I started using it a few years ago but really sat down the past 6 months or so and began to really organize everything. And oh man do I wish my backlog was completed! That would be wonderful! But, I just keep adding to it instead. πŸ˜‰ Thanks for adding me to your multitap! I have added you too! πŸ™‚

  3. Wow…. so I have been searching for a site to organize my video games on!! I couldn’t find one!! I have never heard of this Backloggery!! Interesting!! It reminds me of Goodreads too…. because I have a Goodreads account to keep my books organized and wanted a similar site to keep my games organized as well!! This is great!! I cannot believe how many games you have listed!! That’s incredible!! Thanks for sharing this site.. I plan to take a look at it!! πŸ™‚

    1. Backloggery is great! Let me know if you get one set up! I’ve been using it for a couple years and it is so easy to use. When I sit back and look at it, I can’t believe how many games I have either! Oh and I have a Goodreads too! πŸ™‚

      1. Your list of games is GIANT!! LOL. Mine will probably never get that big, but just being able to keep track of all the games is great!! Thanks for pointing it out! Oh, we could find each other on Goodreads too! My name is the same there!! πŸ˜‰ If you’re interested!!

      2. Haha, I know! I can barely keep up with all the games I have, so Backloggery really helps me out! I just added you as a friend on Goodreads, too! πŸ™‚ I don’t have all the books I’ve read on there, but I’m working on adding them all!
