I was at work yesterday and got really excited when these came in the mail for me!
My boss was walking around with the package just talking to me without really looking at it, so finally I interjected and was like “Um, I think that’s mine, I’ve been waiting for something!” Haha! 😉 Anyway, I ordered these Animal Crossing New Leaf: Welcome amiibo cards off of Amazon, and I’m glad I did! They had a purchase limit of 3, I guess because they don’t have large quantities of cards. Here’s what I got:
So I think I got some really good cards! I was really excited about Sprocket, he always amused me! I like Hornsby and Wade as well. I’m glad I didn’t get any doubles either- unless you count Huck, but he came with my game.
So, just wanted to share my new cards! This will probably be my last post of the year, since tomorrow is New Year’s Eve and I’ll be hanging out with my family. Same goes for New Year’s Day! So hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year’s, and I’ll see you in 2017! 😉
Today I got two packs of Animal Crossing Series 4 Amiibo cards, thanks to my husband! 😉 Here’s what I got:
So I’m happy with my cards, and I’m glad I didn’t get any doubles. Zucker is adorable, and I love Brewster’s card! But can we talk about Elise for a moment? I’ve never had her in any of my towns, and she is… um, scary. Haha!
My husband surprised me the other day with a pack of Japanese Amiibo cards. I thought that was really cool because I have a few packs of the North American cards, but no Japanese ones. I opened up the pack and was surprised to find that there was only three cards in it! That’s kind of a bummer because that is HALF of what you normally get in one pack of N.A. cards. Ah, well.
I’m happy with the cards I got: Peter (Beau) the deer, Yumeko (Rhonda) the rhino and of course, Totakeke (K.K. Slider). Although they are expensive and you get less in the pack, of course I want more! 😉
I played Doubutsu no Mori briefly tonight. I wish I had more time to play, but real life often gets in the way of my virtual life. =( Anyway, I fired up the game and was a little bummed to discover that there was still no snow on the ground. Oh well, I know it will happen soon! I immediately noticed that the roof of my house was painted black, which means that the first expansion was complete!
The outside didn’t really look too much bigger, but inside was a different story. I have a considerable amount of extra room now!
I checked my map and realized that I had another new neighbor! I headed to the beach, where I met a chicken named Diana (Leigh). She has a really cozy house!
I then headed to Tanukichi’s shop, and he told me he hoped I liked the expansion on my house. Then he casually announced that I now owe him 49,800 Bells! It was fun not being in debt, however briefly.
I then noticed that he had two tools available for purchase… a net and a shovel. UGGH!!! I HAVE THOSE! I NEED A DAMN FISHING ROD! What gives, Tanukichi? Why are you torturing me?!
I did see something I wanted in the shop today though: a festive tree! I bought it and put it in my house, then saved my game for the night.
Also, today I got a pack of Animal Crossing Amiibo cards. I enjoy collecting cards because they are nice to look at and don’t take up a ton of space. Besides, I can use these cards with Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer and Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival. Here’s what I got:
So I got some cool cards, although I could do without Resetti LOL!!! I hope to get more of them soon. Good night everyone!
